General
These general reservation and rental conditions form part of the agreement between you and the landlord. By means of your payment to the landlord, you agree to the terms and conditions printed below.
Reservation
You can make a reservation by telephone or e-mail. These reservation methods are binding for you and the landlord.
Confirmation
The reservation is confirmed in writing by email by the landlord.
Payment
The deposit is 50% to be paid within 10 days after receipt of the invoice. The remainder of 50% must be transferred to us no later than 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. With a reservation within these 6 weeks, you pay the amount to be paid immediately. In the event of late payment, the lessor is entitled to cancel the booking of the reserved holiday home.
Cancellation by tenant
Cancellation must be made by telephone and by email. Immediately after receipt of the written cancellation, the lessor will send a confirmation of the cancellation/credit note. If canceled up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, the deposit will be refunded. In case of cancellation within 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, the entire rent will be charged. If we find a new tenant, a refund can still follow.
Please note that you are responsible for cancellation insurance.
Cancellation by landlord
If any circumstance of the landlord requires cancellation of the already rented gîte, the tenant will be notified immediately. If possible, offer an alternative. If this alternative is not accepted, or if an alternative cannot be offered, the landlord will immediately refund the amount already paid by the tenant. The tenant has no more or other right than to reclaim this amount.
Additional costs
Tourist tax
The local government has stated that the tourist tax depends on the type of accommodation. For the gîte (4-star) it is € 1,11 pppn
Final cleaning
Mandatory costs € 50 per rental period.
However, the landlord assumes that you leave the gîte broom clean and that you carry out the following points yourself:
– Emptying waste bins and taking away waste (see waste separation)
– Washing up done
– Leaving the kitchen neat and clean
– Cleaning the BBQ
If you bring a pet, € 25, – additional costs will be charged. This is necessary for extra so-called deep cleaning of the accommodation.
Deposit of €250 per booking. This will be refunded within 2 weeks after departure, provided there is no damage to the gîte.
Arrival and departure
You can move into the gîte from 16:00 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must leave the house cleaned before 10:00 am. We advise you to contact us about an hour before arrival. Then we can prepare and explain your arrival.
Pets
It is only allowed to bring a pet if this has already been indicated at the time of booking. A maximum of two pets per gîte (more in consultation with the landlord) and always in consultation with the landlord. It is not allowed to allow your pet on the sofas or on the beds, your pet is not allowed in the swimming pool and excrement in the house/garden must be cleaned up. An extra cleaning fee of € 25.00 per pet per week will be charged for the extra so-called deep cleaning of your accommodation and the grounds.
Use and liability
The gîte is equipped for the number of people indicated on the website. The correct number of persons must be made known to us in advance. Staying of more people than indicated in advance is not allowed. A camper, caravan or tent are not allowed, unless agreed otherwise in consultation. You are responsible for the correct use of the gîte. Breakage of goods or damage to inventory must be reimbursed by you. The landlord cannot be held liable for personal injury or damage, or theft and loss of your property.
